Prendeville supports animal society with unique program

LEBANON, Tenn. – Andrew Prendeville might have had a short race at Nashville Superspeedway, but the Best Friends Animal Society benefited from the weekend.
Prendeville has been carrying the Racing Laps for Best Friends logo on the side of the No. 5 car for RLR/Andersen Racing. Volunteers manning an information tent in the infield at Indy Pro Series venues have been accepting donations. Prendenville has augmented the program by creating Racing Laps for Best Friends.
Top 10 helps Michael Crawford Motorsports end on high note

JOLIET, Ill. – The Michael Crawford Motorsports crew stood on the pit lane wall and cheered each time the No. 8 UltraV – Ultraviolet Coatings car crossed the checkered line late in the Chicagoland 100. It meant that P.J. Abbott was closer to attaining one goal on a long list.
Abbott, who started 19th, drove to a seventh-place finish in the 67-lap race at Chicagoland Speedway. Sure, he wasn't indirectly sprayed by champagne in Victory Circle. But a cold bottled water shared with the team was similarly quenching.

PJ Abbott has fun during an interview with Miami ABC affiliate WPLG. The interview was in support of PJ's INDY Pro-Series efforts to raise funds and awareness of the newly formed One Vet Ahead foundation. The interview was conducted by executive producer Amber Statler and filmed at the Murano's own LePiaggia Beach Club in Miami's South Beach.
PJ will be racing for the foundation in the No. 8 Michael Crawford Motorsports INDY-Car Pro-Series car at the Nashville Super Speedway on July 14, 2007.
